About VoltArch
VoltArch is an independent UK guide to home EV chargers, smart tariffs and installation costs. We help drivers cut through marketing and pick the right charger for their car, home and budget.
Who runs it
VoltArch is operated as a UK sole trader. The site is built and edited by a small team based in the UK who have spent years researching home charging, OZEV grants and DNO rules. We are not owned by a charger manufacturer or installer network.
How we make money
VoltArch is free to use. We earn money in two ways:
- Affiliate commissions when you click through to a charger brand or energy supplier and complete a purchase or sign-up.
Commissions never influence our rankings. A charger does not get a better score by paying us more, and we will recommend products we earn nothing from when they are the right answer.
Editorial principles
- Rankings are based on real specs, app quality and UK installer feedback.
- We disclose every affiliate relationship clearly in the footer.
- We update pricing and tariff data regularly as the market moves.
- We never publish sponsored "reviews" disguised as editorial.
